Learning Support

We are a fully inclusive school. We aim to ensure all pupils achieve their potential, personally, socially, emotionally and academically in all areas of the curriculum, (Regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual identity, physical ability or educational needs).

Our SEN Policy can be found here.

Children may have special educational needs that require additional support when progress has slowed or stopped. Bradford Schools online contains a wealth of information on all aspects of 'Special Educational Needs & Disabilities' on their website here.

If a child has a Statement of Special Educational Needs or an Education, Health and Care Plan, then we provide the support detailed in the plan.

Below is a summary of our provision for Ranges 1 to 3 for each area of SEN. (More detailed guidance is available through the Local Authority link above).

Our SENCO is Beth Donkin who can be reached at the school by emailing: learningsupport@ilkleygs.co.uk or by phone: Dial 01943 608424
