Carmen produced the most amazing piece of homework that her Head of Year has ever seen – the effort and Pride was amazing!
Thomas exemplifies what it means to be an IGS student, consistently demonstrating all of our school values!
Florence shows great Pride and Responsibility – she has the most achievement points in her year group and has a 100% attendance record!
Jack has shown great Courage, Responsibility and Pride – his Head of Year is extremely proud of him!
Emily has 100% attendance, over 150 positives and is just an overall fantastic student!
Dylan has been working very hard and has been awarded with ‘County Cadet of the Year’! This is a fantastic achievement, well done Dylan!
Lottie is a fantastic role model and represents our school with Pride, showcasing great Responsibility!

Keira is always super polite and helpful, a credit to Year 7!
The Year 8 Football team showed fantastic Responsibility at a recent match, they are perfect representatives for IGS showing all out values!
Dylan has had a fantastic start to Year 9 leading the way with positives – 139 so far!
Chloe has recently participated and came 2nd at the Stars Champion of Champions show at Aintree – her Head of Year is extremely proud!
Mia completed a comprehensive application and was well prepared for her mock interview. She received exceptional feedback from her interviewer scoring ‘excellent’ across all subjects!
Simrah is an excellent student; she is away smiling and is always polite – a great role model for Year!
Gabe showed great Responsibility helping another student, he dealt with the situation in a very mature manner!
Charlie has shown great Kindness supporting another student and becoming a great friend!
Hollie has made huge efforts in all aspects of school life recently and always arrives to school with a fantastic attitude!
Isla & Isabella have shown great Resilience during their exam period!
Jake has had an excellent first tracing report and is making excellent progress – he also has an exemplary attendance record!

Lottie volunteered to interview the philosopher AC Grayling and did a beautiful job. She did herself and IGS very proud!

Amelia has embraced IGS life head on and is never afraid to try new things and challenge herself. She has shown exceptional Courage and determination – her Head of Year is extremely proud!
Jamie is always really helpful and is very positive and welcoming and has been fantastic with our new Year 7’s!
Ralph has worked super hard to be successful in gaining a place in the England Junior Swim Squad – well done Ralph!
Marcus has won a gold award at the Leeds University MTGB Novice Championship after working super hard for the last 6 weeks – well done Marcus!
Saul volunteers at Homeless Hampers serving food until late in his own time. He is such a kind person and goes of his way to support others!
Dylan was superb delivering the St Johns Ambulance First Aid assembly. He was a very assured and impressive public speaker with a powerful message!
