Sid is a remarkable student who is extremely Resilient and Courageous – he is an asset to the Year 7 community!
Alfie has been extremely Responsible, he made a Courageous decision to help and support his friend!
George is an absolutely fabulous student, he is consistently Resilient and Kind and very humorous. He has spent a lot of time in the hub recently and has been keeping staff and students entertained in there with his new game ‘Hub Bingo’!
Evelyn is a fantastic student who all gives her best to work to her Personal Best!
Charlie & Oliver walked 80 miles over the half term break in a charity walk. So far, they have raised over £3000 for Dementia UK!
Nathan is a picture of the IGS values. He is a fantastic student, a great friend and always wonderfully polite!
Chloe has shown Kindness and Responsibility by helping a friend who needed her support!
Carl has shown amazing Resilience and determination this year, he has worked very hard and has gained some great results!
Maizie has worked extremely hard this school year and always does her Personal Best. She is a lovely student who is always Kind and Respectful!
Charlie individually came 2nd nationally in the junior boys’ competition at the English Schools’ Cross-Country Championship, helping the junior boys’ team to secure 5th place nationally!
Jake, Otis, Owen, Oscar, Alex and Archie represented the school and who, as a team, came 3rd nationally in the senior boys’ race at the English Schools’ Cross-Country Championship!

Flo has the most achievement points in her year group, she is an excellent student!

Quentin showed real Responsibility and Courage, he is a fantastic Year 11!
Nicholas received an absolutely astonishing report in his mocks – a true manifestation of his personal best!

Zakariyya has been taking lots of new strategies on board to help in his lessons, he has shown fantastic Resilience!
Kitty has been working super hard and has been accepted onto a course at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Ballet School – an amazing achievement!
Esme & Grace are daily attendees at our Y11 Rise & Revise Club, they are always Respectful and polite and are working extra hard to achieve their Personal Best!
Matthew has been unrelentingly positive and helpful whilst juggling multiple dramatic roles inside and out of school. A very impressive run of Dick Whittington included!

Katie is a superstar Year 11 student, she has a fantastic attitude, fantastic attendance and is always lovely, friendly and polite!
Isobel was a superb organiser and leader of Year 12 during taster day. She is a true credit to our school!
Niamh, Zac, Francis and Dylan for representing the school at the RKA BOTB, making IGS as the host school incredibly proud!
Sam, James and Finlay represented IGS so impressively at the RKA BOTB by flawlessly performing their own song, ‘Drain Brain’. They were fantastic!

Eden has been exceptionally Kind and compassionate helping a new student settle into IGS. She has been a wonderful friend!
Ali has been very busy and has written a Medieval Fantasy Book! His teacher is super impressed with his work and said it was written beautifully. Ali is now working on book number 2!
Florence has shown fabulous Courage and Responsibility in speaking out and trying to resolve a difficult situation – well done Florence!
Charlie has been working very hard in organising his work experience, he’s been proactively contacting potential employers – his Head of Year has been really impressed with his determined approach!
Sam is a daily attender at our Rise & Revise sessions, he is always polite and friendly. A fantastic Year 11 who always gives his all!
Jasper and Hassan did an extremely competent and impressive job chairing question time for our MP. Their Head of Year said it was like watching the real thing!

Daniel & Freddie have been fantastic representatives for IGS coming to the aid of a member of public who needed help during the recent icy spell, we are very impressed with their Kindness!
Frankie has made an outstanding effort this academic year and worked super hard revising for his exams. He is a lovely student and is always Kind and polite!
Yusuf has received a successful nomination to the Rotary Club Young Leadership Award, this is such an impressive achievement – well done Yusuf!

Carmen produced the most amazing piece of homework that her Head of Year has ever seen – the effort and Pride was amazing!
Thomas exemplifies what it means to be an IGS student, consistently demonstrating all of our school values!

The Year 8 Football team showed fantastic Responsibility at a recent match, they are perfect representatives for IGS showing all out values!
Dylan has had a fantastic start to Year 9 leading the way with positives – 139 so far!
Chloe has recently participated and came 2nd at the Stars Champion of Champions show at Aintree – her Head of Year is extremely proud!
Mia completed a comprehensive application and was well prepared for her mock interview. She received exceptional feedback from her interviewer scoring ‘excellent’ across all subjects!
Simrah is an excellent student; she is away smiling and is always polite – a great role model for Year!
Gabe showed great Responsibility helping another student, he dealt with the situation in a very mature manner!
Charlie has shown great Kindness supporting another student and becoming a great friend!
Hollie has made huge efforts in all aspects of school life recently and always arrives to school with a fantastic attitude!
Isla & Isabella have shown great Resilience during their exam period!
Jake has had an excellent first tracing report and is making excellent progress – he also has an exemplary attendance record!

Saul volunteers at Homeless Hampers serving food until late in his own time. He is such a kind person and goes of his way to support others!
Dylan was superb delivering the St Johns Ambulance First Aid assembly. He was a very assured and impressive public speaker with a powerful message!
