Post-16

Note in response to COVID 19

Please be aware that due to Coronavirus we have adapted aspects of our working practice and provision for the academic year 2020-21. Students and parents have been made aware of these adjustments through a variety of communications.

We will do our very best to deliver all aspects of our provision over the coming year.

It may be that due to the restrictions in place or pressure on the calendar we are not able to deliver some things but, in most cases, what is delivered will not change, it will just be a question of when and how. For example, we know that we have the capacity to deliver the curriculum remotely if required, and we are also actively exploring Enrichment and remote Work Experience opportunities to ensure that students can access comparable opportunities this coming year. This new way of working may well require students to take more responsibility for their learning and personal development.

We have updated the information here on the website for prospective students and parents assuming that Post-16 provision from September 2021 will be able to return to what was typically delivered during the first half of 2019-20.

Current students and parents have been made aware as required of any adjustments in school, arrangements for remote working, temporary changes to the behaviour policy, Home Study and health and safety expectations for the academic year 2020-21.
