COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS

This is the highlight of the winter calendar and, once again, we were treated to a wonderful display of talent with beautiful readings and recitals, high-quality performances from our choirs, bands, instrumental groups, soloists and orchestra. There was also a comedic twist on the 12 days of Christmas by the Year 7 drama group. With over 150 students participating it really was an extravaganza of musical, vocal and acting talent. It was standing room only in the church which accommodates several hundred people. Following Battle of the Bands, Ingleborough and organising performances at the Year 11 Presentation Evening it is always a very busy end to the term for the Music and Drama teams but they put on another fantastic show last night which, at IGS, marks the true start of Christmas.
