Ilkley Grammar School - Planning for Our Future - Public Exhibition
There is a public exhibition on proposals to regenerate Ilkley Grammar School. The drop-in event will take place in B: Hall on Wednesday 9th October 2024, 5.00pm - 8.00pm, where you will be able to view the plans, meet members of the project team and share your feedback.
Some of the current buildings at Ilkley Grammar School are in a poor condition and are approaching the end of their useable life span. Therefore, as part of the national School Rebuilding Programme, the Department for Education has tasked Bowmer + Kirkland with developing a scheme that addresses building condition in order to better accommodate students, staff and the community, achieve net zero carbon in operation for new buildings and provide improved facilities.
To access the public exhibition, please use the main school entrance on Cowpasture Road.
If you are unable to attend, the exhibition display will be available on the project website ilkleygrammarplans.co.uk along with a feedback form. You are also able to email info@ilkleygrammarplans.co.uk with any questions and register for updates.
This multi-million capital investment will be transformational for the school, and it is important that your views are shared prior to a planning application being submitted to the local planning authority. Please share your feedback by Sunday 20th October 2024 via the feedback form on the ilkleygrammarplans.co.uk website.
We look forward to welcoming you to the exhibition. Students are also welcome to attend.
