Our School


Ilkley Grammar School is a long-standing, dynamic and innovative learning community benefitting from fantastic students and an excellent staff team.

Great emphasis is placed on high standards here. Our most recent graded Ofsted Inspection (March 2017) confirmed us as an "Outstanding" school in all areas, where we have pupils (who) demonstrate extremely positive attitudes to learning and where pupils behaviour in and around the school is exemplary. Our school is a successful and over-subscribed comprehensive school with over 2000 students, including over 500 in Post-16. We have served the town of Ilkley and the surrounding area, approximately 16 miles from Leeds and 11 miles from Bradford, for over 400 years.

If you are looking for an opportunity to join our Catering or Site teams, it is always worth enquiring, as we have options for temporary or permanent contracts, a mixture of full-time or part-time hours, and the option of casual hours contracts to provide ad hoc absence cover in those teams.
