STUDY PROGRAMME, CURRICULUM MODEL & DAILY TIMETABLE

All students follow a Post-16 study programme in line with ESFA guidelines on 16-19 study programme requirements. All students are timetabled for a minimum of 640 guided learning hours over the academic year. Study programmes are designed to provide breadth and depth, experiences to prepare students for workplace and future life, and where necessary English and maths GCSE focus for those with low prior attainment.

All students study a minimum of 3 A-Level or vocational subjects. All students will also be timetabled for non qualification hours that develop student's character, broader skills, attitudes and confidence, and support progression. All students will undertake work experience to give students the opportunity to develop their career choices and to apply their skills in real working conditions.

The Post-16 Curriculum Model 

(2 week Timetable, 58 lesson cycle)  

All students sign a study contract indicating their pathway at the start of Year 12. 

The last date for changing a pathway is the 19th September 2025. 

Students are committed to completing their chosen pathway unless there is an exceptional circumstance e.g.  a verified medical reason.
