Countdown to Christmas Concert

St Margaret's Church, Ilkley
It was certainly beginning to sound a lot like Christmas on Monday evening at the Countdown to Christmas Concert. St Margaret's Church was the beautiful venue and a wide array of talent was on show after a term of hard work and rehearsals! Whilst additional precautions were in place in line with government guidance, the masked audience enjoyed a really festive celebration of talent encompassing: beautiful solo and group vocal performances; polished and impressive instrumental pieces and accompaniments; confident readings and enjoyable sketches from the Year 7 drama group. It was also wonderful, after a two year break (due to Covid restrictions) to see our youngest students side by side with their older peers.
A huge thank you to all the staff directly involved in the concert and everyone from the community who attended.
