DT NEWS: THE ONE-SEAM COAT

This term, students from our new A Level Fashion and Textiles course have tried their hand at designing and making a Balenciaga style one-seam coat. This has challenged their construction and design skills and has resulted in some beautiful, high quality garments that really capture the classic Balenciaga shape while still showcasing the students own individual style. They have now begun work on their AS portfolios and, Covid permitting, we look forward to being able to share their work with you in person at the end of the year.
