Ilkley Grammar School is Ofsted Outstanding!

We are delighted to announce that Ilkley Grammar School is now officially judged as an ‘Outstanding’ school across the board, following our Ofsted Inspection back in March!

The school was visited by a team of 7 inspectors over 2 days at the end of March this year, who scrutinised all areas of the school’s practice and determined that Ilkley Grammar School “is an outstanding school”, with every aspect of the school’s provision judged to be ‘outstanding’. This includes: the effectiveness of leadership and management; the quality of teaching, learning and assessment; personal development, behaviour and welfare; outcomes for pupils and 16 to 19 programmes.

This outcome was only achieved because of the tremendous hard work and resilience of all of our staff and students at IGS and is the result of a huge effort by Team IGS!
