LOST PROPERTY
We want to reduce our lost property and return as much of it as possible.
Lost property is unfortunately an inevitable part of school life but in an attempt to reduce the amount of our lost property we:
-
1. Log all found items. -
2. Return those with names on directly to the student.
-
3. Keep all lost property at student reception for enquiries and collections for a minimum of 6 weeks.
Unfortunately as the majority of items are not labelled, a large amount of lost property goes unreturned.
Responsibly disposing of lost property, that has not been reclaimed, takes considerable time and effort. As a sustainably conscious school we do not want to throw your valuable items into landfill but most items cannot be donated to charity as they need cleaning or will not be accepted.
Stikins school number: 10459
To help us return as much lost property as possible please can you ensure that all your child’s possessions are labelled with their full name. We have signed up with Stikins who create small name labels that stick straight onto clothes and stay there without any ironing or sewing. Stikins also donate 30% from every order to the school's PTA. Please visit their website, by clicking on the banner above, to create personalised stickers that will stay on all items such as clothes labels, water bottles, pencil cases and shoes.
Quote the school’s unique fundraising number 10459 when you order to earn commission for the school - at no extra cost!
