PTA AGM
The PTA held its Annual General Meeting on Monday 18th November and I am pleased to say that all posts were filled for another year, as follows:

Thank you to them all for their time and commitment.
It was reported that just over £9,000 was raised by the PTA over the 2018/2019 academic year. The money raised went towards the following projects:
- The refurbishment of the school swimming pool, which was out of action for several months and cost a total of £60,000 to repair;
- The refurbishment of some of the school toilets;
- The IGS Bursary – available to provide financial assistance to students who otherwise would not be able to afford some of the many trips and enrichment opportunities that are on offer within school;
- The provision of dining furniture for the new Armitage building’s dining hall.
This year, we plan to run our usual calendar of events in order to once again raise much needed funds for school. Please watch this space for more information about:
- The Curry & Quiz Night;
- The Car Boot Sales; and
- The Auction of Promises.
We are also hoping to organise a Colour Run for next Summer. More details on this to come!
