PTA UPDATE
April 2023
The PTA held its post-Easter meeting on Wednesday 26th April and the Treasurer reported that:
We raised a FANTASTIC £1,850.00 at the recent QUIZ & CURRY NIGHT.
Many thanks to all that attended to support this event, and a special thanks go to Mr Hefferin, one of IGS’ amazing teachers, who ran the quiz.
It was noted that we have been shortlisted for the Parentkind PTA Awards under the categories of Fundraising Achievement (for the Ilkley Colour Rush) and England PTA of the Year. Let’s hope we can pick up a trophy!
In terms of fundraising events, our final event of the year is the ILKLEY COLOUR RUSH, which is taking place on SUNDAY 2ND JULY. Tickets are available now via the following link HERE. Please do support our final event of the year, which we’re hoping will be an fantastic day!
We’ll also be needing lots of volunteers for the event to help with the set up on Saturday, marshalling on the day, and tidying up at the end. If you’d like to help, please contact us at PTA@ilkleygs.co.uk.
