Support in School

Ilkley Grammar School understands the importance of promoting good mental health and well-being with our students. We use strategies to encourage students to foster regular self-care in their daily routines. We also provide support strategies when students might be struggling. In addition all students have a Mental Health and Well-Being Handbook on their iPad.

The Kooth website is also a great resource and provides free, safe and anonymous support.

If your child is struggling emotionally, they can raise this with their tutor or contact their Head of Year by email.

Parents/carers can also do this on their behalf if students are reluctant to communicate how they are feeling.
