YEAR 12 MOCK INTERVIEWS 2022

In December, we ran our Year 12 mock interviews for our ‘Work Experience’ cohort who undertook a virtual interview with an external employer.

Students were provided with a list of popular interview questions to allow them to prepare for their mock interview which also allowed them an opportunity to reflect on their best achievements to date, the skills they possess and their intentions for the future.

We are incredibly lucky to have developed some fantastic business links with both local and national employers, the wealth of experience these interviewers possess allows us to offer our students a very worthwhile experience.

Whilst students can find this a daunting experience, every student that participated rose to the challenge and the feedback we had from interviewers was fantastic. Some of the feedback on our students included comments such as:

• ‘The student spoke articulately, with confidence and was very engaging.’
• ‘Great communication skills. Overall, a very positive young man and an absolute pleasure to interview.’
• ‘They came across really well, explained all their answers as well as providing context to them.’
