CREATIVE ARTS FESTIVAL

Following the successful, Creative Arts Evening which sold-out in July last year, we are delighted to invite you to this years’ Creative Arts Festival.
This is an exciting event, specially extended for this year, celebrating the wonderful, creative talents of our students, with contributions from creative departments across the school.
This year, there will be a full programme of creative numbers across the two evenings, and a short concert on Saturday 8th July as part of the Ilkley Live Garden Music Festival.
The evening events on Thursday and Friday will begin at 6pm and consist of a series of mini concerts on our stage in the school’s main hall, with a range of acts from the Music, Dance, Drama and English departments. There will also be an exhibition of students’ Art and Photography work on A floor, where you will also be able to enjoy listening to some acoustic acts from our musicians during the intervals.
Refreshments will be served by the PTA during the intervals; both cash and card payments will be accepted. It is anticipated that each evening will be finished by 9pm.
Tickets for the event are available on ParentPay at the cost of £5 for full admission to the event (either Thursday OR Friday evening) or £3.50 to access the exhibition only.
IGS Big Sing at Ilkley Live Garden Festival
On Saturday 8th July 2pm- 3pm Year 7 students and IGS Bands will be performing on the tennis courts outside Armitage Cafe as part of the Ilkley Live Garden Festival. Access to this community event is free.
