INTERMEDIATE BOYS' CROSS COUNTRY TEAM
Well done to the intermediate boys’ cross country team who endured hail, wind and rain to place overall 17th (and the highest placing school in West Yorkshire) in the ESAA XC Cup National Final held in Cornwall last the weekend. Archie Budding and Dylan Shinn in Year 10 came 31st and 32nd respectively, with Caleb Dix (91st), Oscar Shinn (99th), Alex Wolfenden (101) and Callum Dow (116) making up the team.
It was a mammoth journey but one the boys took in their stride and they were excellent ambassadors of IGS.
A huge thank you goes to Mr Holland who accompanied the students on their round trip to Newquay in 40 hours, returning at 1.00 am on Sunday morning!
