Through a rich, well sequenced, challenging, and exciting curriculum, many of our students develop a life-long passion for the arts, a curiosity to know more, and a deep understanding of the subject’s threshold concepts, including both practical and academic elements.

Students are at the very heart of the department, and there are opportunities for students of all age ranges and abilities to engage with a variety of different activities both inside and outside of the classroom; in addition to showcasing artwork, singing, dancing, acting and/or playing a musical instrument, students can secure a role directing the school production, managing sound, lighting, set painting or creating props and/or decorative dressings for events.
